What turns you on? Intelligent and respectful guys with good morals and a sense of humor
What turns you off? Cockiness, rudeness, and fakeness are big turn offs
Briefly tell me about yourself and how you got started.
Well, I used to be in acting classes when I was 10, but then my agent moved to
California so I had to switch to a different talent agency. When enrolling for acting classes with the new agency, they suggested that I try modeling as well, and that’s how it all began.
What are some of the hardest aspects about being a model?
The hardest aspects about being a model would have to be putting up with the stereotypes that people tend to make. So many people assume that models are snobby, conceited, and all about their looks, but that’s not true. It’s not true at all. People tend to make assumptions about models without taking the time to really get to know them.
What are some of the greatest rewards due to success in modeling?
To me, the greatest reward is just being where I am today. Ever since I began modeling, everyone has always doubted me because of my height. I was always told that I’m too short to model, and should just stick to acting instead. I kept telling myself, that I will not allow anyone to tell me that I don’t have what it takes to do what I want to do, and look where I am today. I’m here being interviewed by WWS Magazine proving everyone who doubted me wrong.
What else are you involved in?
Other than modeling, I love to dance, sing, draw, and write. I was also involved in gymnastics for 11 years.
What are some of your goals in life?
I want to travel to places I’ve never been, finish school, and obtain a good career in the business industry.
Where do you see yourself a year from today?
A year from today, I see myself developing my modeling career, finishing school, and finding a good job in Marketing.
What do you think makes yourself different from other girls?
-I’m not the type to give up. If there’s something that I want to achieve, I’ll focus my mind on accomplishing it, and won’t give up until I do. If I’m not happy, I’ll do something about it. I’m very strong minded.
What suggestions do you have for other models trying to make it as well?-There will be times when people try to pull you back from reaching your goals, whether it may be because they’re jealous, envious, or simply selfish. But despite what they say, you have to pick yourself up and keep on going because you’ll never know what you’re capable of until you try. It’s amazing what you can accomplish when you ignore all the criticism and allow perseverance to meet opportunities.
If you decided to quit modeling, what would you do?-If I were to quit modeling, I would pursue a career in the business industry. I’d like to have a career relating to Marketing, or maybe even start a business of my own one day.
Anything else you would like to tell us? -Thank you to WWS Magazine for the feature in your magazine, to my bf Louis, my friends, and my family for always supporting me, and to God for bringing me where I am today. To
