Name: Ava Jadore Briefly tell me about yourself and how you got started. I got started about 3 ½ yrs ago, After owning my own make up line and stressing on the product etc, I started looking for other ways to make money a few friends/family introduced me into the modeling world I started modeling part-time i love being and feeling sexy and getting in front of the camera allows me to express myself *wink*. Well Once The Make-up line was dissolved I started modeling Full-Time being that you always need a backup plan I decided to go into Real Estate ( I have always had a Entrepreneur state of mind) i love mingling with new people so hey why not make some money and meet many people, all walks of life at the same time and with the GRACE OF GOD I have been very successful at both Modeling and Real Estate. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to work with Many Great photographers (MRM, Aldrick Williams, B Ellis, Leonard Thompson Photography, Charles Thompson Photography or as we say CTP, Faze 1, Room 703 just to name a few) What are some of the hardest aspects about being a model? I would not say it’s hard but there’s a lot of fakes in the industry so weaning out the real’s and the fake was once a challenge for me, I have been around the industry long enough now to know from conversation/ research who’s who. There’s a pretty woman on every block so you have to stay on top of your game to continue your success, you get paid off of your body, face, presence. Not much of the gym type but I do a lot cardio, try to eat right study successful models and keep a positive attitude about it all. What are some of the greatest rewards due to success in modeling? Having someone come to me and say I respect what you do, and because of me they have kept the faith in what they have set out to do. seeing myself on Several Magazines, and Calendars, This is Hollywood WE ALL EXCEPT THE FAME IN RETURN. J What else are you involved in? Besides Real Estate, Web Design, I currently own a Consulting/ Casting Agency for Models/Artist (Male/Female), the website is currently under-construction, We’re currently working on Seminars to teach models about the industry ( we will soon offer classes. For our models: Classes to teach the do’s and don’ts about modeling, for Artist: all about the music industry, where/ how you can gain distribution, marketing, and allow opportunity to show off your talent. I stay focused and busy life to short to stop at one as long as you finish all you set out to do. What are some of your goals in life? My goals are of many but if I would have to choose I would say to help as many aspiring models/ artist gain exposure and push their careers as far as I can.” AND become a Positive household name, Where do you see yourself a year from today? Continuing my success to the fullest within all the above mention statements, getting involved with some non-profit companies for inner city kids. My confidence is Real, I don’t settle for less that my worth, my continue hunger for this industry, the desire to make a change for other woman, most woman in this business are scared to help other model in fear that the next will steal there shine. Not me I am rewarded mentally by knowing i helped another get the recognition she/he deserves. What suggestions do you have for other models trying to make it as well? Never lower yourself to boost another’s self esteem, continue to practice your craft and not just the modeling aspect but learn the Terminology, do a lot of research; no one will care for your success more than you. Stay hungry but not desperate. If you decided to quit modeling, what would you do? Continue with what I am do now with the classes and my company. I will never quit helping others that’s just what I enjoy doing Anything else you would like to tell us? Ava JaDore has been a positive force in my life. She is very determined to reach her goals in life. She will go out of her way to help you get to your destination and that says a lot for a team player. I have had the pleasure of working with her on various projects and we never stopped until the mission was complete. Ava is a very business savvy and sophisticated woman. She carries a standard for others to follow!
