Rumor has it Lawrence Taylor, legendary Giants defensive end, will be trading in his tights for sequins as he gets set to join season 8 of the ABC reality dance competition. News of Taylor’s Dancing plans were reportedly broken over the weekend by Ashton Kutcher, according to the New York Post. “Expect to see him in prime time soon,†Kutcher posted on his Twitter feed after meeting the football star at a Super Bowl bash in Tampa. “Can’t say where but he better work on his footwork.†A source close to Taylor yesterday confirmed Taylor’s Dancing plans,†reports the Post. If Taylor joins the lineup, he’ll have some very big shoes to fill: former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Warren Sapp finished second last season, former Miami Dolphins star Jason Taylor was runner-up to Olympic gold medalist skater Kristi Yamaguchi in season 6 and, of course, Dallas Cowboys star Emmitt Smith won season 3. The new DWTS lineup will be revealed Sunday night on ABC. |
