| Release Date >> February 16, 2009 More In >> News |
According to Rap-Up.com, the 19-year-old singer said via a statement from his rep that he’s “sorry and sadden” by the events of last Sunday (February 8), and clarifies briefly information that’s currently circulating the blogesphere. “Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired,” he said. “I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person. Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. “While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds,” Brown continued. Brown and Rihanna got into a heated argument, while driving around in a rented Lamborghini early Sunday morning following a pre-Grammy party. The argument escalated, got physical, and Rihanna was reportedly left “bruises and bite marks.” Police were called, and Brown fled before they arrived. However, Brown later turned himself, was charged with making criminal threats, and is under investigation for a felony domestic violence charge. He’s currently waiting a decision from L.A. District Attorney’s Office, which is expected later next week. |
