Tell us about where you are from and how you got to this position today.
I’m from East New York Brooklyn and I got to this point through hard work, perseverance, and the graces of God.
Tell us more about the current song you are promoting to everyone.
Well currently I’m not promoting any particular song. I’m more so promoting my movement and brand at this time which is called Hundred A Gram
Tell us about one of the hardest challenges you had to face in the industry?
I would have to have to say one of the hardest challenges is finding people that you can trust and are genuinely down for you. Also just the pure resistance can be discouraging, but I realized very early that the only way to overcome resistance is through persistence.
What was one of the biggest set backs in your career and how did you bounce back?
My biggest set back came about 4 years ago when I was hospitalize and diagnosed with a rare lung decease. The doctors put me on meds for like a year and a half and said I probably wouldn’t be the same physically. After I was able to recover from that I refocused and gained a new hunger to succeed.
What are some things artists need to be careful of?
I think all artists need to be careful of boxing themselves in artistically by not exploring new sounds and different methods to making music, that’s exactly what they’ll do. Faulty representation is another thing that artists have to be extremely mindful of because you’re only as good as who you have representing you.
What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
Dream big and go for your dreams in a big way. Stay true to you and never let people tell you what you couldn’t do. Artists such as myself should always think about expanding in all ways.
What is one of your favorite ways to promote yourself and your music?
The World Wide Web! The game is totally digital now and I love it because it gives Indie artist like me the opportunity to spread my music to millions of people all over the world in a cost effective way.
