Get It Clothing Co. is an urbanwear company directed towards the youth with a fresh twist. With the entertainment industry in mind, and arts background, Get It’s designs reflect the artistic free minds of all types of people: MCs, singers, dancers, painters, tattoo artists, athletes and extreme sports competitors – the lists goes on. No matter what your talent is, our message to the next generation is to never stop going after whatever it is you want in life. Get It Clothing Company: to go after, take hold of; to succeed.
Who or what are your influences?
Seasons. Colors. Places. People. I take a little of everything depending on what I am trying to achieve. Our summer collection is bright and fresh, it makes you feel carefree and young, exactly how you would want to feel in the summertime. Our fall collection is perfect for back to school, featuring polos and cardigans, with a very distinguished feel for the grown and sexy!
What sets your brand different from others?
Our line of gear first starts with quality threads. All of our tees are 100% combed and ring-spun tees, which make a sleek modern cut and design with super soft fabric in comparison to standard retail tees. We pride ourselves with our Original Vintage 90′s New Era Fitted Caps and Snapbacks, with original tags, never worn, overstock from over 20 years ago, like fine wine. A hat collector’s must-have. The way to success is being fresh, owning your look and making a statement. Everything about GICC will help you make that statement. Bold colors, unique designs, and new ideas make up the creative originality that seeps from the GICC Brand.
Are there any challenges you run into while running a business?
Always. Shipments get stalled, inventory runs out, peoples’ idea of trend and pushing that idea is a gamble; there are constant challenges when running a business. The biggest challenge is how to take us to the next level once we have accomplished a set goal. We sit and think, “Wow we did this, now how can we take this even further and make GICC even better.”
Any plans for the future with your clothing line?
Our main goal is to continue growing throughout the United States as well as worldwide. We have street teams growing all over the U.S., Europe, Africa, Japan and South America. In the hopes that one day GICC will be a household name in every corner of the world. We are young and out here hustling to give the next generation the definition of swag.
