How did you come up with the name?
It’s an acronym: SKATE.LIVE.AND.PROSPER

Description of clothing line?
Imagination and dreams/ideas twisted up into another realm then thrown on a skateboard or shirt. lol.

Who or what are your influences?
The people of skateboarding, our fans send us emails, the street skater. All of our ideas come from a fan wanting a custom deck or asking “why doesn’t anyone do this or that.” So we turn thier ideas into reality. Our other influences are also from the 80′s when skateboarding first blew up onto the streets like it is today!

What sets your brand different from others?
Other than the price of our items, it’s basically street skaters selling to street skaters, usually there’s this retired vet that’s like “it’s my way or the highway.” We dont really care about sponsoring people right now because we’re to busy skating ourselves.

Are there any challenges you run into while running a business?
Yes, a lot! Some days you’re hot and  others you’re cold. Because we base our business on ideas, ideas change quickly so we have to stay updated and when you’re behind, you aren’t going to be able to sell anything on any given day! And there’s so many other brands out there so it’s not like I can just magically appear at the top, it’s a tug of war sorta like. So we just take it day to day and hope for the best!

Any plans for the future with your clothing line?
Build an international store in like Germany, that’s where all the good skaters and high fashion dudes are at! So hopefully we can go overseas and prosper there!
