How did you come up with the name?
The name We Are Martians has two meaning. The first being that we are Martians, we are not the same, we are different we don’t want to be the same as every other brand out there. While on the other hand We Are Martians symbolizes the dreams of a child where in anything is possible, and that is where a lot of our designs get influenced with bright colorful cartoonish designs.

We are streetwear brand that features bright colors, cartoon inspired images with a clean and simple style

Who or what are your influences?
We Are Martians takes a lot of influence from our childhoods, cartoons, and our everyday lives. Who inspires me though, everyone from artists and musicians to family and friends. Everyone has something you can learn from and a different viewpoint.

What sets your brand different from others?
Our dream isn’t to be famous or known by everyone, but just to inspire people that if you really want to do something that anything is possible.

Are there any challenges you run into while running a business?
I am a poor college student trying to start a clothing company with a couple of friends, the better question would be what challenges are we not facing.

Any plans for the future with your clothing line?
We have four snapbacks coming out soon. I should hopefully be receiving them next week sometime. Other then that we try and live one step at a time and don’t want to get to ahead of ourselves.
