Check out the new song from Legendary Kruegg – Back With You
Tell us about where you are from and how you got to this position today.
I’m from Los Angeles California but spent some time in Gardena. My uncles were two amazing lyricists, they made me record my first song in 2001 and so I did, and soon after I began writing and perfecting my craft and been at it ever since.
Tell us more about the current song you are promoting to everyone.
“Back With You” is off my new album “LoveLoveLife Defining Memoirs,” available on www.soundclick.com/kruegg and datpiff. I think everyone has gone through that one relationship where you break up and make up etc. And “Back With You” is a reflection of my own experience.
Tell us about one of the hardest challenges you had to face in the industry?
Realizing what I wanted to leave as my legacy in music and that dreams are harder to achieve, but with hard work and dedication I can achieve it.
What was one of the biggest set backs in your career and how did you bounce back?
Sometime last year after releasing my second album “Unmatched Fury 2: Love, Guns, & Money.” I wasn’t receiving the reception I thought I would get from it because I put a lot of amazing material on that album. I was so close to quitting but I decided not to and I went in recorded my new album in about 12 days and I am glad I stayed the course because my new album is a incredible body of work.
What are some things artists need to be careful of?
Surround yourself around positivity because a lot of people want to see you fail and won’t tell you to your face, but they’ll whisper it behind your back.
What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
Have faith and stay focused on your dream and your vision. Not everyone is going to see it and that’s fine as long as you can see it clearly that’s enough. Don’t let the naysayers and haters tear you down if you believe in yourself, hard work, dedication, and faith will get you the results you want.
What is one of your favorite ways to promote yourself and your music?
I like to go out and pass out my CDs and interact with different people and hearing the positive responses they give me makes it worth it to me. Real recognize real and people definitely appreciate that.
