Check out the new song from Rell P – Dear Mr. Toilet
Tell us about where you are from and how you got to this position today.
I was born in Oakland, CA, raised in Sacramento, CA, and everywhere in between growing up.
Tell us more about the current song you are promoting to everyone.
The song I’m currently promoting is a song called “Sear Mr. Toilet” which I just recently dropped a video for. I kinda just wanted to convey a real sincere smooth-chill setting while talking my shit at the same time so it’s enjoyable for the listener to just smoke and ride to.
What are you currently working on and what can we expect to see?
I’m currently working on shooting videos for my, and what seems to be the listeners, favorite songs from my past bodies of work “TunnelVision” and “Peezworld” all while working on my next project called “Full Circle” which I’m really excited about!
Tell us about one of the hardest challenges you had to face in the industry?
I think one of the hardest challenges I’ve faced is balancing everything from getting income to studio to performances to all ground work. It gets really hectic but I recently got a management team together to really help this brand I’m trying to form.
What was one of the biggest set backs in your career and how did you bounce back?
The group I was originally in broke up. At that time I did not know what direction to go with in my music career. How did I bounce back? I went harder than ever.
What are some things artists need to be careful of?
First and foremost, when people see you moving and on your grustle they reach for your pockets without anything on the table; when really you can draw a lot of attention by doing it yourself with a lot of hard work dedication and what me and my friends like to call “having TUNNELVISION or STAY ON IT.”
What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
For other artist like myself I would suggest you just get your money up, invest in yourself to get your art the way you want it and never rush things.
What are the best ways to sell your products as an artist?
The best way to sell my product as an artist is just building the brand and making the product exclusive, meaning you can only get what I got whether it be the music, clothes, slang, etc. from me, Rell P. People like feeling of “I’m the next new fresh thing” before everyone else.
What is one of your favorite ways to promote yourself and your music?
My favorite way is for sure doing shows or anything where I can really get out there with the people and mingle so they know I’m really sincere and this isn’t just a gimmick. Its authentic and genuine. I’m a real social person so when I can get out there and talk to people and they take interest in what im doing and visa-versa, I love it.
Where can people visit you?
You can get directly to me on my epk on every network, I’m on right now at www.peezworld.com.
